You Can Have Gorgeous Lashes! PDF Print E-mail
It’s true that mascara opens up the eyes, and aren’t they the ‘window to the soul’? When mascara doesn’t quite do the job for that special occasion, here are the ways to utilize false lashes. We promise it is quick and easy- and you don’t always have to be the one doing it! You will look bright-eyed and flawless with this simple eyelash tips.

Individual lashes are the way to go! The strips of lashes sold around Halloween will not make you look natural and pretty, especially with they include unnatural colors! Those lashes are likely to draw attention to the fact that you have massive fake lashes on your eyes. Individual lashes can be purchased in a variety of shades and lengths and applying them is fairly simple.

Prep your eyes! Clean your lids and around the general eye area with a cotton ball. Make sure there is no product (shadow, liner, mascara) or residue left behind. You want to start with a clean slate. Next, pour some eyelash adhesive on a piece of paper or foil (a few drops should do it!) and use tweezers to dip the lash into the adhesive. Never put adhesive directly on the eyelid! Press the individual lash into the base of your natural ‘lash line’ and continue with as many as you deem necessary. This process will take longer the first time you try it but should rarely take more than 15 minutes!

Go to your local nail or hair salon!
Many of these establishments provide a trained professional who can apply the lashes for you if you’re not up to the task! The cost usually ranges from $15-$25 dollars (they will provide the lashes). They can decide what color and length will look best on you, saving you the guesswork in the beauty store aisle. Many pros will also use liquid eyeliner to give your eyes that gorgeous finishing touch! They will last for approximately two weeks. Another option are eyelash ‘strands’, which will last for almost a month!
