Sunburn can seem like simply the annoying after-effect of a nice day at the beach or a productive afternoon of yard work. But sunburn is much more serious than that --- its cumulative effect can be quite dangerous, and can lead to skin cancer. Even a sun tan is not particularly good for you, contrary to popular belief. You should always protect your skin from the sun's powerful and potentially dangerous ultraviolet rays, most especially if you are of a fair complexion. It is imperative that you put on a sun block that will adequately protect you and your family. ENJOY the sun, but be prepared.
