A lot of people have been talking about the new trend in liquid nails, and they're definitely not referring to construction glue. Keep reading to find out how you can get liquid nails at home very easily, and what the fuss is all about!
Nail polish companies such as Maybelline have made polishes that have that trademark "Wet Shine," and you'll need to choose a similarly glossy polish to achieve this look. The bold color and slick shine of these polishes helps them steal the show. Prep your nails for the look by filing them to get out the ridges and then buffing them to a maximum shine. This will help the polish go on evenly. Choose a color that really stands out on your hands for maximum effect. Like the girl in the photo, turquiose, emerald green, or a bright red will really make a statement this fall. Paint the polish on thick, with 2 to 3 coats depending upon the consistency of your polish. Like always, be sure to use enough polish on the brush to avoid a streaky look to your nails. When you finish covering your nails, paint one stroke parallel to the edge of your nail. This extra stroke helps protect the edges of your nails from chipping. Put on a clear coat and you're ready to rock this trend!
