Manicures Using Matte Nail Polish

To add a fun twist to your regular manicure, try using a matte top coat which creates a unique flat finish. It’s also great if you’re in a hurry, because it only takes seconds to dry. Here are some easy manicures to try with matte nail polish.

Subtle Nude: For a barely-there manicure, paint a matte topcoat over nude polish.

Checkerboard Nails: All you need for this at-home manicure is black polish, matte polish and tape

Matte French Manicure: Paint nails a solid color. Then tape off the tips of your nails and paint the bottom halves with matte polish. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Matte Glitter: Paint nails a solid color, then with a glitter polish and top with a matte coat for an abstract look.
