Steaming isn't the only healthy way to eat your veggies! Next time, try broiling your veggies. Broiling provides the same texture that you get from grilling vegetables. Try a flavorful marinade, toss the vegetables in it and then put them in the broiler, taking care not to scorch them. Roasting vegetables gives them more flavor and they cook very quickly when thinly sliced.
