| Cures for the Hiccups |

Next time you get the hiccups, try one of these tricks.
- Bend forward the waist and drink a glass of water from the opposite side of the glass. - Tickle the roof of your mouth with a cotton swab at the place where the hard and soft palates meet. - Get a tsp. of sugar or a packet of sugar and place under the tongue and let it dissolve slowly. - Suck on a slice of lemon soaked in angostura bitters. - Swallow a tsp. of vinegar. - Place a brown paper bag over your mouth and breathe hard and rapidly into it at least 10 times. - Hold your breath and swallow at the same time you feel the urge to hiccup. - Try sucking on a piece of candy.
