Greek Salad PDF Print E-mail
This is the salad that you'll most likely get at any Greek restaurant in America.

Time needed
15 minutes preparation

Ingredients

* 1 head lettuce
* 1 clove garlic, halved
* 1 cucumber
* 1 bunch green onions or small dry onion
* 1 green pepper
* 4 Tbs. olive oil
* 2 Tbs. vinegar
* salt
* pepper
* oregano
* 1/2 C. crumbled feta cheese
* olives

Directions

Wash lettuce well, drain, dry and chill. Tear into bite-size pieces and place in large salad bowl that has been rubbed with the garlic. Peel and cut the remaining vegetables and add to lettuce. Toss.

Prepare dressing: Blend oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano in a jar. Pour over salad just before serving. Toss lightly to coat with the dressing. Garnish with feta and olives.
