Plagued by blisters on your feet and need a sure thing to prevent them? Check out this dry idea.  Apply some underarm antiperspirant on your feet before your jog. That's right; one of the major causes of blisters from running, walking, or skating is the accumulation of moisture. Moist skin increases the frictional forces on your feet, which sometimes causes blisters. But the dryer your skin, the easier that socks and shoes slide over it. In a study of over 600 cadets, Army researchers found that by applying antiperspirant to the feet of subjects before a 21-km hike, the cadets had significantly fewer foot blisters afterward.
