What You’ll Need:
- 2 lbs. wax chips
- 6-inch wick with wick tab
- 4 8-ounce glass canning jars
- A skewer or wooden stick
- Lavender essential oil
- Dried lavender sprigs
Pour wax chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds on high. Repeat this microwaving process until the waxy liquid is completely smooth.
Cut the wick string in half, two 2 3-inch pieces. Tie one end of the strings to a wooden stick, sealing with a knot. Place the wooden sticks on top of the canning jars.
Drop at least 30 drops of lavender oil into the melted wax, and mix well. Fill a quarter of the jars with the wax, then let set for 10 minutes. Add sprigs of dried lavender to the wax. After the wax has set, slowly fill the jars with wax and let them sit for several hours, until solid.
When solid, trim the wick and light it up!
