Think of it as a step up from the average bowl or milk and cereal. Our breakfast bowl consists of Greek yogurt and quinoa. (Think of it as a tasty upgrade.) Topped off with fruit, honey and other good-for-you treats this is a breakfast that can’t be beat.

Start by adding a generous amount of plain Greek yogurt in a bowl.

Add some fruit and honey for sweetness. Use any fruit on hand bananas, peaches and strawberries make a great topping.

After you add the fruit, top it off with quinoa, sunflower seeds and mint. Quinoa is one of the healthiest grains out there so why not add it to the most important meal of the day? This is also a great place to throw a handful of silvered almonds or walnuts into this breakfast bowl.

It doesn't get much easier than that. Throwing a bunch of Greek yogurt and other healthy foods into a bowl is the perfect easy-to-make breakfast. And you will not feel guilty about eating this later in the day.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup fruit (any type)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • ¼ cup quinoa 
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds (optional)
  • 2. tbsp. mint, finely chopped

Directions:

In a small bowl combine Greek yogurt, fruit and honey. Top with quinoa, sunflower seeds and mint. Serve.
