Great Grilled Beef Dinner

You’ll do your cavemen ancestors proud with this meat-heavy meal. Grill up some beef, season it with spices and add it to a bed of vegetables if you so choose. It's a simple way to get your protein fix in. This is a pre- or post-workout meal that will fuel your muscles.


  • 1 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 lb. boneless beef top loin roast, fat trimmed
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 1/2 tsp. kosher salt


  1. In a bowl, mix oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary.
  2. Spread the mixture over the beef and let marinate for 12 hours or overnight.
  3. Heat your grill to 450 degrees.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grates, before you set the meat on top.
  5. Cook the meat on the grill while covered for 5 to 10 minutes. It should be nicely browned and easily removed from the grates.
  6. Move to a cooler part of the grill.The temperature should be about 350 degrees. Cook, while covered, for 25 minutes.
  7. Making sure to check the temperature periodically.Take off the grill and cool.
  8. Slice and serve.
