Designers have gotten creative with nail art in recent seasons. It’s not just about designing clothes, shoes and accessories anymore! We love seeing how the creative minds in the fashion and beauty industry come up with interesting manicures for every show. Here are some that are sure to big the next big nail trends.
Kate Spade: The queen of all things cute and girly paired gingham manicures with her spring collection. We would try this on a more rounded nail and use a thin paintbrush to apply the stripes.
Rebecca Minkoff: Minkoff used a cool mint on her models, which were done by the Haven Spa team for Essie. We suggest using Essie’s Mint Candy Apple. It’s the perfect shade to recreate this manicure.
Prabal Gurung: We’re not sure what occasion it would be appropriate to have your nails look like they’re dripping in blood. Maybe Halloween? Either way, you can’t miss this nail art.
Derek Lam: Subdued tan nail polish was used at Derek Lam. We usually think of tan as a fall color, but with spring’s bright shades it’s a good idea to keep nails neutral.
Charlotte Ronson: Blue, vertical stripes made this manicure our favorite. Learn how it was done on Birchbox’s blog.
Veda: We’ve never thought about doing a single stripe on my nails until we saw it done at Veda.
