Retailers and beauty brands are already rolling out the holiday nail polish collections. Just because they’re holiday collections doesn’t mean you can’t start wearing them now! One of the biggest holiday polish trends we’ve seen so far is glitter, and lots of it! Keep checking back as we update this article with new collections as they come out.
Butter London Holiday 2012 Collection
We were lucky enough to review a few of their holiday polishes. We were fans of the opaque glitters because we could wear them on all ten fingers or just an accent nail.
OPI Skyfall Collection
OPI is celebrating the holiday season with this collection in honor of the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movies. The highlight of the collection is an 18 karat gold leaf top coat that we’re sure will be well worth the $30 it costs.
Essie Holiday 2012 Collection
You can get Essie’s holiday polishes starting in November. We’ll be first in line for Leading Lady, a glittery ruby red, and Butler Please, a blue cobalt.
Orly Naughty or Nice Holiday 2012 Collection
Another collection filled with glitter polishes. Our favorite is Devil May Care which is a red polish with fine red glitter and chunky gold glitter. It’s perfect for a holiday cocktail party.
China Glaze Holiday Joy Christmas 2012 Collection
China Glaze is coming out with 12 new polishes for the holidays. From four shades or red, to plenty of shimmery and glitter polishes, we can’t decide which we want so we’ll take the whole dozen!
Zoya Ornate Winter 2012/2013 Collection
Zoya’s winter polishes include six liquid metal colors, many of which are holographic. They are already available for purchase on the Zoya website.
NARS for Andy Warhol Color Collection for Holiday 2012
By far the most artistic collection we’ve seen so far, NARS stunned us with these polishes. The 15 Minutes polish is a yellow cream that is unlike any yellow we’ve ever seen. We also love the orange and purple shades.
