In preparing for my wedding in June, there were a few go-to beauty products that helped me achieve the classic look that I always dreamed of, and these are products I’m keeping in my makeup bag to use all summer long. Keep reading to see the products and tips, and even where you can find them!
I relied on the classic Essie color called “Ballet Slippers” for my classic and understated wedding manicure. It’s a classic, pale pink, and it actually took me three coats to achieve the more opaque color I was going for, but I absolutely loved how it turned out. Make sure that you prep with a base coat and finish with a top coat to make sure your mani lasts due time.
One of my favorite lipstick colors of all time, Clinique’s Different Lipstick in Glazed Berry served as a great lip color because it added the right amount of funk to my ensemble. Since I went with neutral nails, I really wanted a pop of color somewhere in my beauty look.
My makeup artist told me that Mac’s Fluidline in “Blacktrack” would last through the smiles, tears, and everything in between on my big day, and boy, was she right! This is the best eyeliner I’ve ever worn, and it didn’t move one bit during my strenuous 14 hour day.
