Perfect Products For The Makeup Challenged

I know my way around a Nordstrom with my eyes closed, but when it comes to makeup I often feel blind.

I take one look at a makeup counter and I have no idea where to begin. There are sooo many products and each one comes in sooo many colors that I just give up and walk away.

Thankfully, CoverGirl did all the work for me and hooked me up with their newest, easy-to-use products. My daily makeup consists of mascara and lip balm, so I was looking for simple products that wouldn’t take me long to apply in the mornings. They really hit the nail on the head with these.

Mascara is the one beauty product I actually like wearing and is the first thing I put on. CoverGirl’s Clump Crusher literally crushed the amount of time it normally takes me to apply mascara. Instead of struggling to unclump my lashes, I was able to swipe on two coats of this in no time.

The Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation is a foundation, but it’s so much more too. It works just as well as a concealer. I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis, but if I needed to cover a breakout I just dabbed a bit on and it worked perfectly. It also has SPF 20, which earns a thumbs up in my book.

Next up comes the lip balm. I’ve made it no secret that I hate lipstick and am a dedicated lip balm wearer. CoverGirl’s LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm has gloss in the name but it felt like a balm to me. There was no stickiness and I applied a light coat because I wanted very subtle color. If you apply more coats, it will probably appear more like a gloss.

Last but not least I had to give their new Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss a try. I was impressed by the packaging and that it looked like brands twice as expensive. And you’re bound to find a color you like with all these options. For less than $5 a bottle, these are a great deal. The colors are bright and vibrant. The finish was super glossy that I didn’t even need a topcoat. I can’t wait to try some nail art with these.
