Incline Intervals

After you work up a sweat during the 3-minute sprinting portion, cool it down while still toning your body by lowering the speed of your treadmill to about 3.5-4.0 and increasing the incline to 4 or 5. Walk briskly on this incline for three minutes.

You can experiment with what angle incline works best for you. No incline is too small to start. One of the best parts of working out is seeing improvement over time.
