Fight Off Fatigue: Crazy Ways To Boost Your Energy

Are you always yawning or do you constantly feel drowsy? Don't worry, you aren't alone. Many of us feel tired on a regular basis, but the causes can differ drastically.

There are plenty of ways you can boost your energy, but instead of grabbing another cup of coffee, we decided to find other alternatives to combat the afternoon slump. Here are 5 different ways you can get rid of those dreadful drowsy days!

Chew Gum

Chewing gum actually has a lot of weird benefits, like helping with build up on your teeth, and curing heartburn. Now, we have discovered that gum can even boost your energy!

We specifically recommend chewing mint gum. Chewing naturally increases your heart rate, and blood flow to the brain. Chewing mint gum will also stimulate the nervous system because of its cool and refreshing flavors.

Massage Your Ears

You might not feel comfortable doing this in public, but massaging your ears is a great way to boost energy.

Your ears contain the acupuncture meridians. This gland helps calm the nervous system immediately, and also gives you an immediate boost of energy. Using your thumb and index finger give your earlobes a gentle massage in a circular motion for 20 to 30 seconds.

Stand Up

Simply standing up can give you a boost of energy. Sitting down for a long period of time puts us at higher risk of developing heart diseases, diabetes, depression, and much more.

Since it is already quite bad for your health, try to give yourself breaks from long periods of sitting. Working in an upright position gives a boost of energy and avoids you from getting fatigued after sitting for so long.

Smell Cinnamon 

There are scents out there that help reduce our fatigue, and one of those scents is cinnamon

Surround yourself with this scent, a cinnamon flavored drink, or even cinnamon scented oils to boost your energy levels. Have them around your desk and home to feel the benefits on your energy levels.

Eat Kiwi

Kiwi is a nice refreshing fruit that can also give you a boost of energy. Kiwi is packed with Vitamin-C, antioxidants, and fiber. All of these things are great for your health and diet.

Studies have also shown that kiwis can help with our energy. Add at least two kiwis to your daily diet to lower your levels of fatigue.
