This healthy citrus salad recipe is the winner of Recipe4Living’s Citrus Season contest. During the gray and cold winter days, this citrus salad brings bright colorful flavor and keeps you in a cheerful mood.
* 1 avocado, sliced
* 1 segmented grapefruit with juice
* 4 C. spinach
* 1 C. raspberries
* 1/4 C. sliced almonds
* 1 splash olive oil
* 1 splash balsamic vinegar
Combine above ingredients and grate the desired pepper. Makes two salad starters or a main course if you add protein (cooked chicken, turkey, beef or pork).
