Unexpected Expert: Movie Star Goldie Hawn

You might know Goldie Hawn from her heyday on the silver screen, but for the past decade or so, she’s dedicated herself to improving the mindfulness of others through The Hawn Foundation. This foundation works with educators and scientists to discover skills that encourage empathy, social and emotional learning – through meditation and journaling.

She just released her latest book, a journal called “10 Mindful Minutes”. She hits home the point that just a few minutes a day can bring everyone, young and old, a greater sense of focus, emotional calm, and power to strive for goals and face challenges.
