Pelcor is a high-end brand based out of Portugal. Their specific style is a soft cork that is featured on nearly every product. They sell many different styles of bags and wallets, along with office supplies (notebooks, sleeves) small goods, hats, and umbrellas.
I wouldn’t normally be drawn to a high-end tote bag, but after using the Sunshine Capsule Tote bag for several days, I can vouch for the importance of quality. When I got the bag, I was in a hurry to get on the road to visit home for a few days. I didn’t have the time to pack carefully and organized, so I gave the tote a stress test and stuffed it full of toiletries and odds and ends.
When I got home a few hours later, I was happy to see my belongings still secured in the bag. Throughout the weekend I toted the bag around from the apartment I was sleeping in to my parents house, stuffing it carelessly each time.
Now that I’ve come back to the city, I’ve been using the bag for my commute. I hate having to rustle around with multiple bags, bursting at the seams with comforts from home; however, this tote is the perfect size to carry my laptop, sweater, water bottle, lunch, and a book. I also carry a small handbag with my phone, wallet, and sunglasses, but that’s out of preference to have those items close across my body. The tote could easily fit all of my necessities.
Though I haven’t used the bag at the beach or on a picnic, I know that it would be perfect for those activities. The bag could easily fit a rolled up towel, a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, and other beach necessities.
The bag has a lot more space and strength than you might think at first glance. It fits an average day’s worth of personal goods, and even when full, doesn’t feel bulky. It slides comfortably up my arm and on my shoulder. I can comfortably hold it between my arm and body. It also had an attached zip-pocket that’s perfect for those little things you want to keep protected. I used it for my glasses and contacts, but it could definitely be used for a standard bi-fold, loose cash and cards. It’s also great to discreetly store tampons, pads, or medicines.
Overall, I really like this bag. It’s a great choice if you are looking for something sturdy, diverse, and stylish.
