4 Quick and Easy Summer DIYs

4 Quick and Easy Summer DIYs

Got a few minutes and dollars to spare? That's all it takes to create these easy summer-themed crafts. They don't cost much, but they make a big impact.

Painted Mason Jars

Glass jars of all shapes and sizes and easy enough to find. Paint them your favorite shade, add some flowers and you have an instant ceterpiece.

Metallic Shells

Wondering what to do with the bags of shells you brought home from vacation? Create eye-catching shells by adding a coat of shiny, metallic paint.

Fire Starter

Everyone loves sitting around a campfire in the summer time. Instead of buying firestarters, make some from items you have around the house. Stuff an empty carboard toilet paper tube with dryer lint, wrap the tube with brown paper and tie the ends with string.

Chalkboard Pots

Thanks to some chalkboard paint, you'll never forget what you planted. Use a spongebrush to apply paint to part of the pot or get the spray version and paint the entire thing.
