Cabbage Stew

A nice, warm, and hearty bowl of stew always hits the spot. This cabbage stew recipe is not only filling but also very delicious. You can use potatoes, beans, cabbage, and beef to make this great recipe for stew. Beef and cabbage pair together so well making this simple, humble recipe something extraordinary.

Ingredients
•    3 cups cabbage, shredded
•    2 lbs. beef, diced
•    2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
•    3 cups kidney beans
•    1 ½ cup beef broth
•    1/3 tsp. pepper
•    1 tsp. salt

Directions
1.    Place a large saucepan over medium heat
2.    Put beef on saucepan and allow beef to cook for about 12 minutes or until browned on all sides
3.    Pour beef broth and pepper over beef and cover the pan
4.    Allow the mixture to simmer for about 2 hours
5.    When done, add potatoes and celery and allow about 40 minutes more cook time
6.    Sprinkle with salt and serve
