Sweet Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops
Bourbon isn't just for drinking and when paired with honey, this liquor takes on a sweet twist. Add this marinade to your summer grilling list and feel free to leave your pork chops in the marinade as long as you like. The longer, the better, the more flavorful your pork chops become. You'll also find pork chops effortless to toss on the grill, with an easy 2 flips you have your meal. Serve these pork chops along with a salad, rice pilaf, corn on the cob, and more!


  • 3 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 4 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce/span>
  • 2 Tbs. bourbon
  • 1/2 C. honey
  • 1 Tbs. minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. hotsauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 4 (1-inch thick) pork chops


Within a small saucepan, combine all ingredients excluding the pork chops. Then bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Reserve half of the sauce and set aside. Pour half of sauce over pork chops and marinate for at least 30 minutes (you can marinate the pork chops longer, even overnight, if desired). After letting the pork chops sit in the marinade, grill for 6 minutes on the first side then flip. Grill for 5 more minutes frequently basting with reserved sauce. Upon serving drizzle remaining reserved sauce, if deserved.
