Tofu and Bell Pepper Stir-Fry

Have you experimented with stir-fry before? Don’t worry if you haven’t! We have an easy and delicious vegetarian recipe for you to try at home. Not only is this tofu and bell pepper stir-fry quick to whisk up, you’ll also love to flavor up that bland tofu with various veggies and sauces.


  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
  • 6 ounces extra firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 ounces sugar snap peas
  • 2 red or green bell peppers, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced and peeled
  • 2 green onions, diced diagonally


Mix soy sauce, vinegar, honey, sesame oil and pepper flakes in a medium-sized bowl. Add tofu. Marinate 30 minutes. Drain and reserve liquid. Pour corn starch and 1/8 cup water into marinade. In a skillet over medium to high heat, add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and tofu. Heat until golden brown. Throw in peas and peppers. Continue frying as you add garlic and ginger. Place tofu back to skillet. Drizzle marinade over tofu mixture and continue frying until thick. Serve in bowls and garnish with green onion.
