No-Bake Watermelon Cake

What in the world is a watermelon cake? It is just that, a watermelon used as the base of this no-bake, super simple summer cake idea. Bring this cake to any summertime gathering as a refreshing dessert alternative. Just a warning, be ready to explain yourself. This cake will be sure to bring up the question, “how exactly did you make this”?

No-Bake Watermelon Cake
Serves: 4-8
Total Time: 30 minutes

1 watermelon (medium or large, depending on how many people you want to serve)
1 ctn. blueberries
1 ctn. raspberries
1 pkg. slivered almonds
whipped topping

Cut the two ends off your watermelon. Place watermelon on one of its sides, cutting in a circular pattern to remove the rind. Feel free to further cut the watermelon to create a uniform shape. The circumference of the watermelon should be made as round as possible. Next, pat watermelon dry with paper towels to remove the excess liquid. Begin frosting the watermelon with whipped topping, making sure the watermelon is completely covered. After the watermelon is covered, layer slivered almonds around the cake. Add the blueberries and raspberries to the top of the cake. Enjoy!
