This hearty stew brings out the overall great taste of ribs and the flavor of garlic with a great texture from the beans.
Ingredients:- 1 qt. whipping cream
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 whole cloves garlic
- 3 whole carrots, skinned and diced
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 1 Tbs. salt
- 1 Tbs. pepper
- 2 C. kidney beans
- 3 lb. short ribs
Directions:
Soak kidney beans overnight in water. Put whole garlic cloves in mesh pouch or take each bulb out and add to bottom of crockpot. Combine the whipping cream, chicken stock, short ribs, potatoes, carrots, salt, pepper and kidney beans in the crockpot and set on low heat. Let cook for 7 hours then take out and serve.
