Fat Free Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Apple and cinnamon are the perfect fall flavor combination. Enjoy them guilt free with these fat free muffins.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 C. applesauce
  • 1 C. apples, diced
  • 2/3 C. whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 C. white flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Mix together the flour, baking powder and cinnamon.In a separate bowl, mix the egg, sugar, vanilla, applesauce and milk.  Pour dry ingredients into wet ones and stir until just moist. Then, gently fold in apples.  Fill the muffin tins.  Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
