Whole Grain Burgers

Mini Whole Grain Burgers

Need a healthy appetizer to share at your next party? Try out these mini whole-grain burgers for a snack that everyone will love! 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 whole grain slider buns
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 8 hamburger dill pickles
  • lettuce, as desired

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the onion powder, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Add the ground beef to the bowl and combine to season the meat. Form mixture into eight patties and place them on a baking sheet. Cook the burgers for roughly five minutes on each side, or until the burgers are completely browned. Once the burgers are ready, layer them on the buns and top with a slice of tomato, a pickle, and lettuce.
